Description
Parachromis dovii, the guapote, rainbow bass, or wolf cichlid, is a species of cichlid native to Central America where it occurs on both slopes of Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. This species grows to a length of 26 inches. It is the largest Cichlid in the world. It is characterized by very aggressive behavior and requires a minimum of 125 gallons of water.
